I myself work in retail and i am going to have to stand up to this bully! Why bully you might ask, I find it very hard to believe that a manager was yelling at you in front of other customers! working in retail for the past 10 years i can tell just from your post that your the type of customer whether your in a retail store or restaurant to argue or fight to get something for free. Anyone reading this please please really read Shannon's post and tell me you truly believe what she is saying! when have you ever seen a manager yelling at a customer (her words, YELLING) come on now! I have to stand up to this because if this company is anything like the one i work for this manager probably cant even stand up for himself because of rules of the company. we can not comment on social media, now if you want to read (shannons post) to the manager that was on duty that day to his face and let him respond i think we'd get a different perspective) because i bet you don't do it!

The manager in the marshalltown store needs 2 attend customer service training to if this location is to be successful. I just had a really BAD EXPERIENCE in dealing with him concerning a letterman jacket that was purchased 3 weeks ago. When it was discovered by the seamstress that the jacket was defective I brought it to his attention and he became BELLIGERANT. Because letterman jackets are a "special order item" I paid extra for rush delivery due to the fact that the last time I ordered one I was made to wait 4 months for the "next batch" to be made. I tried to explain this to him and he became IRRATIONAL!!! He embarrased me in front other customers. "ITS NOT OUR FAULT AT THE STORE LEVEL THAT THIS HAPPENED"!!! He shouted. Another employee then said that she spoke with the seamstress and said that she could fix the jacket which WAS SIMPLY NOT TRUE! Why would I want to return the jacket and wait several more weeks if I could have had it fixed? I guess the most AMAZING part of the whole experience came at the end when he said "Didnt your son try the jacket on when you picked it up?" "Of course he did", I said "but as you can see the defect was concealed ". ( i had shown him the defect earlier) "What is it that you WANT a refund?" "no I just dont want a jacket with no DEFECTS". I said. "Once you take possession of it ITS YOUR PROBLEM", he said. "Well you could look the jacket over and maybe see if its alright before you give it to the customer" ? I said. " I am NOT GONNA DO THAT!!! " was the reply." I am gonna send it in and you will have to wait for however long it takes". Perhaps he was having a bad day, or he was in a rush (he did interrupt me several times to inform me that he had to pick up his kids) but it just seemed to me that I as was TALKED DOWN TO like a BAD EMPLOYEE. He seemed "stressed out", and EXTREMLY UNPROFESSIONAL. If I need any more SPORTS PAGE products I will GLADLY drive out of my way to patronize the other locations than take a chance in being embarrased in front of other customers.
wow, what terrible customer service. My daughter purchased a pair of Nike Jordan shorts for her boyfriend for Christmas. She returned for an exchange to a smaller size. She had the receipt and original sack. She was told that because the tags were missing she could not return the item. Who has a return policy like that? The tags were removed because the item was a gift.
was i there no but can i see a lot of made of things without being there of course!
and to the one that said what kind of store has a return policy where you have to have the tags... any store i have been to that's not a multi million dollar company has that policy, including where i work!

The staff is great, they are very helpful. The BEST Sports Page. Managers and staff bend over backwards to get what you need. Owner is an amazing guy. You would be dumb not to shop here. Super sexy head manage, when his hair is gelled. I mean really its like a peep show while you shop! All in one stop shop! Better than Super Walmart!
