My sister and I were arriving to an event that was about 30 miles away. After a long day of driving, we called the hotel to see if we could check in early as we were ahead of schedule ( Hot Rod Power Tour), staff was nice enough to let us check in before it was time.The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good! Only drawbacks was the detours from construction.
Very clean, nice rooms, the workers were very friendly and helpful as well.
The Marshalltown Comfort Inn definitely met or exceeded my expectations. I stayed there as I was in town for a business trip. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. The bed was comfortable and I got great sleep. The complimentary breakfast was good, but not great, which is to be expected. Biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs and waffles along with fruit, bagels and toast were available for breakfast. The eggs weren't great, but typical for a complementary breakfast. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
