Visiting this little burger place is like stepping back in time. The menu and decor have changed very little since I lived in Marshalltown in the early 1960s. Their famous maidrites are shipped all over the world and are as good as I remember them when I was a little girl.

I've lived in Marshalltown for almost 34 years. I grew up eating at the Maid-Rite and it's always one of my favorite places. The food is always hot and fresh. You get exactly what you ask for on your sandwiches, and they have great malts & shakes. The staff is friendly and courteous. They may not have a kids menu, but any age kid with teeth can eat a Maid Rite!! ❤
